Hey there! I’m Amy, wife, mom of 3, and the proud owner of Kid to Kid Eagan. Just like you, I love thrift shopping! I grew up in a family deeply involved in the consignment shop industry, learning the ropes from my amazing mom, who ran her own consignment store for over 30 years. This upbringing gave me a real passion for second-hand shopping. With my extensive background in retail, I specialize in curating an excellent selection of kids’ and baby items at our store.
I’m dedicated to giving pre-loved items a second chance for the planet’s sake and to support our local community. When you shop and sell with us, you’re not just getting amazing deals; you’re also helping to build a stronger, more connected community. Thanks for being a part of this awesome journey with us!
At Kid to Kid Eagan, we’re always ready to buy your gently used kids’ items every day until an hour before we close. We accept items for all seasons year-round and offer cash on the spot or 20% more in store credit. To make the process quicker and smoother, we kindly ask you to bring freshly laundered clothing items laid flat (not folded) in a bin or basket—no bags, please! Items with safety pins or garage sale stickers will not be evaluated. We’re on the lookout for items that are in great condition and in style!
When it comes to toys and equipment, please ensure they are clean, in working order with batteries, and free of recalls. Feel free to bring in as many items as you’d like, but keep in mind that if you’re bringing in more than 2 bins, there might be a bit of a wait. Just a heads up, we don’t purchase car seats, electric breast pumps, or maternity wear.
If you happen to have a crib to sell, please give us a call ahead of time, as our space is limited and we only buy certain styles. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got!
When you choose used instead of new, you reduce your carbon footprint by 60-70%. That’s more impactful than ditching your car and biking every day. Plus, the fashion industry is the second biggest polluter in the world.
